What is architectural business coaching?
Architectural business coaching is Tony’s way of describing a practical approach: design how the business works, identify its main constraint and establish a rhythm for acting on the plan.
What does “architectural” mean here?
It refers to the structure of the business, not architectural design services or coaching exclusively for architects. The working questions are: who is the customer, what is the offer, what has to happen to deliver it and what action matters this week?
A useful business structure links those decisions. For example, an offer that requires ten manual steps before a customer can buy may need a simpler payment and onboarding process before it needs more promotion.
How is it different from general advice?
Advice may answer a question. A defined coaching engagement also creates time to review what you did with the answer and what changed. In Tony’s 90-day program, that means an initial design stage followed by weekly tactical reviews.
The goal is not to solve every future business process in advance. It is to specify enough structure to test the offer and learn from actual customer-facing actions.
How is it different from done-for-you consulting?
The founder conducts outreach, makes decisions and delivers the service. Tony helps with diagnosis, priorities and review. Hiring someone to implement a website, run paid ads or manage accounts is a separate service scope.
Before hiring any provider, ask who owns implementation, which deliverables are included and how progress will be reviewed. A title alone does not answer those questions.
What methods are used?
Lean Canvas organizes customer, problem, offer and revenue assumptions. The Theory of Constraints helps isolate the most limiting obstacle. OKRs establish quarterly goals, while 4DX supports weekly action tracking.
The important output is a decision you can act on. A framework is useful only when it clarifies that decision or helps you test it.
Which option should I choose?
Use the 30-day Blueprint when you need a model and can implement independently. Consider the 90-day engagement when you also want a regular review of execution. Compare specialist calls or mentoring services if your need is narrower or your budget calls for a different model.
